AskExpert- moon shot – unable to get details and color

I tried to take super moon shots this week using many settings, but was unable to get details and color of magnificent moon.  When I googled it,  there were other Nikon 7100 users who had the same problem and just got big white overexposed moon.  Any  suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. Laura B.

Congratulations, Bill Coakley & Sonny Saunders!!!

Bill&SonnyAt10thParty

Damaris Gonzalez, Social Director, hosted a great party for DPI-SIG’s 10th birthday. There were no leftovers! What started in 2004 as an idea by Bill Coakley and Sonny Saunders has grown to a very successful digital camera club that encompasses all levels of photographers from the surrounding areas. Approximately 120 members and guests enjoyed the festivities. In addition to the regular door prizes, 3 special baskets of door prizes were given to these lucky winners: Linda Lapore, Helen Skerry, and Michael Schleider. Many thanks to all the volunteers who have made this digital camera club what it is today. Here’s to the next 10 years!
