- Meetings:Our meetings are educational in nature. Presentations are given on digital photo techniques and digital editing. There is an “Ask the Expert” segment which has proven quite popular. Every month we show member submitted photographs on the topic of the month. There’ usually a “What’s new?” segment of the meeting as well. Field photo shoots are in the planning stage at this time. Finally, door prizes are given to members.

- A main goal:
NFN Digital Photo and Imaging Special Interest Group – DPI-SIG
Education of members and the public in digital photo and imaging techniques and facilitation of exchanging related information, techniques, equipment and software.
One of the keys to using digital photo and imaging technology is knowledge of the techniques involved. A focused organization of individuals with that common interest can aid the education process immeasurably.
Any digital camera or imaging enthusiast. Those with film photography backgrounds are welcome too if they are interested in the digital realm.>/p>
The group is run by volunteers and members are encouraged to participate and share their knowledge and talent with other in the group.
Have fun while broadening one’s knowledge of digital photography and imaging techniques. Also, check out our website: http://dpi-sig.org. Our meetings are free and open to the public, so you are welcome to come to our next meeting which would be a good way to find out more about the club. Our Meetings are held on the second Thursday night of each at 7PM at the Edison College Auditorium. Club membership is $20 per year should you choose to join.
Also, we have taken the liberty of placing your email address on the DPI-SIG Emailing list. If you approve, how about sending us your Name and phone number. If not, let us know and we will remove you from the list.
